Zuga Medical, a Beachwood, OH-based company that designs, manufactures and markets innovative dental implant systems, has received $100k in funding from The Innovation Fund.
The company intends to use the capital to validate its technology and business concept.
Led by Co-founder, Chairwoman and Chief Executive Office Dr. Chan Wang, Zuga Medical has developed a patent-pending system designed to allow dental professionals to reduce chair time, eliminate outsourced patient and laboratory services. Products include:
– the BiothreadTM Implant
– the DentimTM Restoration System
– the User friendly Kit that combines BiothreadTM and DentimTM in one tool box and Pre-programmed drill-unit.
The Innovation Fund was founded by the Lorain County Community College Foundation to award early-stage capital to technology-based companies in Northeast Ohio.
