Private equity firm Industrial Growth Partners has acquired Cambridge International, a Cambridge, MD-based manufacturer of custom-built conveyor belts and related woven metal mesh solutions, from Sterling Investment Partners.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
Founded in 1911, the company is comprised of three divisions:
– Cambridge Engineered Solutions,
– Cambridge Architectural and
– Cambridge Environmental Technologies.
Based on Maryland’s Eastern Shore, Cambridge has five manufacturing locations around the world and is actively developing innovative product solutions.
Founded in 1997 and based in San Francisco, Industrial Growth Partners invests exclusively in middle market companies in the manufacturing sector in partnership with management. It currently has over $1.3 billion in capital under management.
