Sefaira, a London and New York-based provider of energy efficiency software for the building and building materials sectors, has closed a $10.8m Series A funding.
The round was led by Braemar Energy Ventures, with participation from Chrysalix SET and Hermes GPE.
The company intends to use the funding to increase adoption of its cloud-based, building physics analysis and design software by architects, retrofit engineers, building owners and materials manufacturers on a global scale.
In conjunction with the deal, Neil S. Suslak, Managing Partner of Braemar Energy Ventures, and Rene Savelsberg, Managing Partner and CEO of Chrysalix SET, will join Sefaira’s Board of Directors.
Founded in 2009 and led by CEO Mads Jensen, Sefaira has built proprietary cloud-based technology which helps building designers across the US, Europe, the Middle East and Asia analyze and compare sustainable building strategies for new build or retrofit projects.
