Airtime, a San Francisco, CA-based live social video company, recently closed a round of financing of undisclosed amount.
The round was led by Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, with participation from existing and new investors such as Andreessen Horowitz, Accel Partners, Google Ventures, and Social + Capital.
In conjunction with the funding, Bing Gordon from KPCB will join Airtime’s board.
Founded by Sean Parker and Shawn Fanning, Airtime also said it acquired Erly http://erly.com/, a social platform for organizing and sharing personal content.
