TenderTree, a marketplace for local home care, has joined the Mountain View-based 500 Startups Accelerator.
The company will receive up to $100K in funding, access to mentors & designers in residence, platform-specific strategies for customer acquisition, and a creative workspace.
Founded by Andy Agrawal and Dana Wu, TenderTree is an online marketplace to find in-home care, which covers services ranging from companionship and housekeeping all the way to dementia care and skilled nursing. It is live all across the United States, but it is mainly focused on the San Francisco Bay Area and is not currently active outside of the US.
