Utopia Closes $50M Funding

Utopia, Inc., a Mundelein, IL-based provider of enterprise data management solutions, has closed a $50m funding.

The round was led by FTV Capital, with participation from Liberty Mutual Insurance.

The company intends to use the funding to accelerate its expansion into fast growing markets and enhance capabilities in its Big Data managed services offerings.

In conjunction with the funding, Liron Gitig, FTV principal, and Brad Bernstein, FTV Capital partner, have jouned Utopia’s board.

Founded by CEO Arvind Singh, Narinder Singh and Andres Martin, Utopia is a global Enterprise Data Solutions provider that leverages its proprietary Enterprise Data Lifecycle Management (EDLM) methodology. It serves customers in multiple industries, including oil & gas, mining, utilities, manufacturing, high tech, consumer goods and retail. Solutions include strategic roadmap development, systems integration, data strategy and master data management (MDM), as well as data migration, quality and governance services.
The company, which Utopia is an SAP® Premier Partner for SAP Services and an SAP PartnerEdge Value Added Reseller (VAR), has offices in USA, Canada, Europe, Middle East, India, Asia Pacific and Latin America.
