According to multiple reports, VirtualSharp Software, a McLean, VA-based provider of next generation automated Disaster Recovery solutions for private and public clouds, recently raised €2m in funding.
Backers include co-founder and CEO Carlos Escapa, Pedro Tortosa, undisclosed American investors, Enisa and CDTI.
Founded in 2010 VirtualSharp Software develops next generation Disaster Recovery software for private and public clouds that continuously and automatically certifies the recoverability of services running in the cloud.
The company, which also has offices in Madrid, Spain and London, UK, intends to raise a new round within the end of 2012.
