Bluebox, a San Francisco, CA-based enterprise security technology startup, has raised $9.5m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Andreessen Horowitz, with participation from Andreas Bechtolsheim, Ram Shriram, and Brian Cohen.
In conjunction with the financing, Bechtolsheim and Scott Weiss, a general partner at Andreessen Horowitz, have joined the company’s board of directors.
Co-founded by CEO Caleb Sima and Adam Ely, Bluebox specializes in mobile security. It is hiring developers (read here http://www.bluebox.com/join-the-team.html).
