InSite Wireless Group, LLC, owner, operator and manager of wireless communication tower site facilities and distributed antenna systems (DAS) across the United States, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands, has received a follow-on investment from Growth equity firm Catalyst Investors.
The amount of the transaction, which follows an investment by Cox Enterprises, Inc., was not disclosed.
It is designed to increase the company’s capacity to continue expanding through additional tower development and acquisition.
Catalyst made an initial investment in InSite in January 2010 and a follow-on investment in April 2011. Catalyst partners Chris Shipman and Todd Clapp have served on InSite’s Board of Directors since 2010. Clapp will continue to do so.
