Thismoment, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of social content management software for brands, has raised $22m in its Series C funding.
The round was led by Trident Capital.
Led by Vince Broady, CEO and Founder, Thismoment offers the Distributed Engagement Channel (DEC) platform, which has been adopted by more than 100 Fortune 500 brands during the past two years. DEC is a software solution for unifying, managing and analyzing a brand’s social channels, rich media assets and user generated content. It allows brands and their agencies to drive content engagement and customer conversation management across multiple social, digital and mobile touch points, both online and outdoor.
The company intends to use the funding to expand its operations within the United States and establish new offices in Europe, Latin America and Asia, and to accelerate DEC platform development and to further enhance and expand its DEC Partner Network, which already includes dozens of third-party creative shops, social media agencies, developers and resellers.
In conjunction with the funding, Eric Jeck, venture partner at Trident Capital, has joined Thismoment’s board.
The company is hiring (http://www.thismoment.com/jobs).
