Consensus Point, a Nashville, TN-based provider of prediction market software, has closed its Series B financing.
The round, whose amount was not disclosed, was led by Relevance Capitals’ NEST-TN, LLC, with participation from Golden Seeds, DLA Piper Venture Funds and the Tennessee Technology Development Corporation (TTDC) INCITE Co-Investment Fund.
Led by CEO Linda Rebrovick, Consensus Point provides market research, media and consulting firms with “crowd-sourced” prediction market application (Huunu), to engage respondents to aggregate knowledge in a market environment to predict future events and market preferences. Enterprise clients include GE, Best Buy and Motorola.
In conjunction with the funding, Sandra Kresch, Managing Director of Golden Seeds in New York, will join the Consensus Point Board of Directors.
