Jetpac, a San Francisco, CA-based developer of an iPad app for travel slideshows, has closed a $2.4m Series A financing.
Backers include Khosla Ventures, Internet Entrepreneur Jerry Yang, and Morado Venture Partners.
According to a written statement, the company intends to use the funding “to provide even more ways for travel enthusiasts to find inspiration”.
Launched in April 2012 and led by by CEO Julian Green and CTO Pete Warden, Jetpac serves as a picture guide organized by destination and friend, providing slideshow galleries of high resolution travel images shared on Facebook. The company, which is currently hiring (https://www.jetpac.com/jobs) has just released a new version of the Jetpac app with more ways to explore friends’ photos.
