De Revolutione, a Naples, Italy-based startup that operates a social platform that helps users power their campaigns, has raised €1.25m in funding.
The round was led by Vertis SGR, with participation from a angel investors Giulio Valiante, and Michele Casucci.
The company intends to use the capital to continue to grow, in Italy – where it will launch in October 2012- and abroad.
Founded in November 2011 by Roberto Esposito, CEO, De Revolutione offers tools designed to enhance, improve and amplify causes, ideas and goals coming from the bottom such as environmental protection, participative democracy, artistic or entrepreneurial projects, political propaganda and electoral campaigns, mass actions and flashmob, petitions on a local, national or global scale, manifestations and protest movements, coordination and collection of donations for charity, voluntary work or in case of emergencies and natural disasters.
