Influitive, a Toronto, Canada- and San Francisco-based provider of customer advocate management and mobilization solutions, has closed a $3.75m funding.
Backers include First Round Capital, Lightspeed Venture Partners, New Enterprise Associates (NEA), Relay Ventures, Illuminate Ventures, CommonAngels, Resolute.VC, Golden Venture Partners, Accelerator Ventures, 500Startups, and other angels and firms.
In conjunction with the funding, James Geshwiler, Managing Director of CommonAngels, will join the company’s board of directors.
Led by Mark Organ, co-founder and CEO, Influitive has created a marketing platform (AdvocateHub) designed to help companies leverage and mobilize their customer advocates, evangelists and fans providing them a game-like experience through all stages of the buying cycle, from social media reviews and customer referrals to case studies and references. Marketing administrator can populate their AdvocateHub with “challenges” like questions, surveys, requests for reviews, and more. Advocates are notified when new challenges are published, and get rewarded if they participate.
