PrePlay Closes $3.1M Series A Funding

PrePlay, a New York-based predictive game studio, recently closed a $3.1m Series A funding round.

The company is using the funding to expand its operations with the opening of a new midtown Manhattan headquarters, add staff and develop a new suite of game products.

Created in April 2010 by Andrew Daines, CEO, PrePlay develops second screen social games for mobile devices (such as its NHL PrePlay app).
The company, which also has offices in Paris, is backed by Gary Vaynerchuk, John Chachas, Matt Higgins, Doug McCormick, and Phil Geier.
