TriPlay, a New York and Israel-based provider of cross-platform cloud services, has secured $5m in Series C financing from Kenges Rakishev.
The company intends to use the funding to increase its marketing efforts for accelerating user acquisition, new business partnerships and expanding its global presence into Europe and Asia.
Led by Tamir Koch, TriPlay has developed MyMusicCloud and MyDigipack.
MyMusicCloud is a cross-platform cloud music service that enables users to sync their music collections across any device, including computers, mobile phones, tablets and connected televisions. It offers a store with more than 11 million songs and allows cloud music users to view song lyrics, crop ringtones, and share their favorite music on Facebook, and is available in 23 languages.
Launched in January 2012, MyDigipack is a cross-platform cloud service that enables users to play, view or edit photos and videos from their mobile devices, access them across virtually any end device and share them with friends using social media or MMS.
In conjunction with the funding, Rakishev, was named to TriPlay’s board of directors.
