Jongla Oy, a Helsinki, Finland-based startup that develops mobile messaging apps, has raised €1.2m in funding.
Backers include Tekes and Hannu Syrjänen, Kalevi Sivonen, Janne Leino, etc.
The company intends to use the capital to continue developing its product and roll out its business strategy, including a major product relaunch this autumn.
Led by founder and CEO Arto Boman, and and COO Riku Salminen, Jongla has developed an innovative service based on easy-to-use, cross-platform mobile instant messaging called Jongla®.
