Medallia, a Palo Alto, California-based customer experience management software business, has raised $35m from Sequoia Capital.
The company intends to use the funding to advance its customer experience platform.
Led by CEO Borge Hald, Medallia provides SaaS-based customer experience management (CEM) and enterprise feedback management (EFM) software, which allows companies to capture customer feedback from surveys and social media
Customers include automotive, business services, education, energy, financial services, health care, hospitality, Internet, retail, technology, and telecommunications companies.
In conjunction with the funding, Sequoia partner Doug Leone will join Medallia’s board, along with former CEO of Parametric Technology Corporation, Steve Walske.
