Minuto Seguros, a Brazilian online insurance broker, has raised an undisclosed amount of Series A funding.
The round was led by Redpoint e.ventures.
The company intends to use the capital to expand product development and marketing efforts and scale its technology infrastructure.
Founded in 2011 by insurance industry expert Marcelo Blay, Minuto Seguros offers a broad selection of insurance products from the top local and international players for both individuals and businesses in 500 cities all across Brazil. It allows users to search for personalized quotes free of charge with customer service support with representatives available online and over the phone.
