According to reports, BuyerCurious, a Minneapolis-based startup that operates an online real estate marketplace, has closed a $1.75m Series A funding round.
Backers include undisclosed angel investors.
Co-founded Jim Lesinski, BuyerCurious.com aims to enable people to buy and sells their home, either on their own or with the help of an agent, attorney or other personal advisors.
It enables buyers to search homes, request showings, and make offers online. Sellers can list a home for free, get information on ways to advertise their properties, get professional yard signs, receive and negotiate offers, and finalize a purchase agreement in a private online deal room.
Agents can use the platform to collaborate with their clients, and promote their visibility.
