Datahug, a Dublin, Ireland-based startup that provides business networking automation solutions, has raised €2.5m in Series A funding from DFJ Esprit.
The company intends to use the proceeds from the investment to expand in internationally, mainly in the US.
Customers include Grant Thornton, Plantronics, BDO, CPL, Balderton Capital and the same DFJ Esprit.
Founded in 2010 by Connor Murphy and Ray Smith, Datahug provides a sales performance and business networking solution that automatically manages, measures and shares customer relationships. The solution can index existing communication logs (emails, contacts and calendar data) to create an enterprise-wide picture of who knows who (see how it works here).
The company already raised $1.5m in seed funding in May 2011 (read here)
