Genesis Media, a New York City-based video ad solutions company, has raised $3m in Series A funding.
Backers include Black Ocean and SamStella.
The company intends to use the funding to expand to expand its product and engineering teams as well as accelerate sales and business development efforts.
Led by Mark Yackanich, CEO, Genesis Media provides an engagement-based platform that focuses on improving the economics for premium content publishers on the Web and connected devices worldwide.
The company plans to accelerate the roll-out of its solutions, giving advertising partners access to over 150 million consumers per month, enabling delivery of any length video with targeting and engagement.
