According to Carlos Blanco, President and founder of Grupo ITnet (read here), Infantium, a Barcelona, Spain-based gaming platform of cognitive development for children 0-6 years old, has raised €100k in seed funding.
Backers Grupo ITnet, SeedRocket business angels including David Tomás, Oscar Fuente and Sergio Balcells. Enisa provided funding, as well.
The company intends to use the funding to continue to invest in technology and content and develop its business model in order to distribute its end products.
Founded in 2012 by Karen Marquez, Daniel Gonzalez and Joaquin Grech, Infantium offers adaptive learning solutions for children & kids, which foster skill acquisition on critical areas like logic, representation and symbolic thinking, and languages, at their own pace, as well as support positive parent-child interaction around apps.
