PagPop, a Ribeirão Preto, Brazil-based e-payment platform, has received an investment from Intel Capital.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the capital to accelerate growth, invest in technology to mange the growing flows of financial transactions.
Led by Marcio Campos, CEO, PagPop operates a mobile payment online platform that allows professionals and small business owners to accept credit cards for payment. Its technology aims to transform phones, computers, landline or smartphones with a swipe device into a credit card payment machine.
