Pearl.com Raises $25.7M in Series B Funding

Pearl.com (formerly known as JustAnswer), a San Francisco, CA-based source of professionals online, has raised $25.7m in Series B funding.

Backers include new investor Crosslink Capital, existing investor Glynn Capital and all Board members including Charles Schwab.

This new round of funding, which brings the total amount raised to more than $50m, will allow the company to deliver a more personalized website experience for their customers, and make their service more accessible by increasing mobile applications.

Founded in 2003 by CEO Andy Kurtzig, and newly added CFO Erik Zech, Pearl.com allows anyone to have one-on-one conversations online with verified professionals including doctors, lawyers, veterinarians, electricians and technology specialists with an Internet connection.
The website provides access to 10,000 professionals in 700 specialties.
