According to TrendsOnline.dk, Conferize, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based provider of an online plattform for conferences, has received funding from Accelerace Invest.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funding to scale operations and expand internationally. TrendsOnline.dk said that Conferize plans to hire 15/20 people within a year (http://www.conferize.com/jobs).
Launched at DEMO 2011 by CEO Martin Ferro-Thomsen, Martin Moen Wulffeld, Jesper Vestergaard, and Jon Schäffer, the company operates a social customer acquisition platform for the conference industry that allows users to virtually discover and register for conferences and join the action as it happens around people, conversations and content.
