TextMaster, a Brussels, Belgium-based professional translation, copywriting and proofreading content service, has raised €1.64m in its first funding.
Backers include Alven Capital, and business angels Fabrice Grinda and Geoffroy Bragadir.
The company intends to use the capital to grow abroad, mainly in the USA, where it plans to open a New York office.
Launched one year ago by CEO Benoit Laurent and Thibaud Elzière, TextMaster provides individuals and businesses with the opportunity to acquire services relating to copywriting, translation, or proofreading. Available in English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, and Chinese, the company recently launched an API that enables app developers to build copywriting, translation and proofreading functionalities.
