Clarity Raises $1.6M in Seed Funding

Clarity, a San Francisco, CA-based company that operates a platform to connect experts with advice seekers over the phone, has raised $1.6m in seed funding.

Backers Freestyle Capital, Baseline Ventures, Boris Wertz from Version One Ventures, Mark Cuban, 500 Startups, Real Ventures, etc.

The company intends to use the capital to continue to develop its solutions and grow globally.

Launched in May 2012 by CEO Canadian Dan Martell, CEO, Clarity aims to connect entrepreneurs who seek assistance and experts in startups, venture capital, and business via free or paid phone calls. 6,000 experts are already signed up.  The company makes money by charging a transaction fee for any paid expert call.
