Cloud Sherpas, an Atlanta, GA-based cloud services brokerage, has completed a $40m Series B funding.
Backers include existing investors Columbia Capital and Delta-V Capital and new investor Greenspring Associates, and Queensland Investment Corporation.
The company intends to use the funding to continue to grow organically, expanding in key geographic regions and into emerging technology categories, as well as extending partnerships with Google and salesforce.com, and via acquisitions. Today, Cloud Sherpas has acquired CloudTrigger, a California-based cloud solution consultancy focused on helping organizations implement and customize CRM solutions in the cloud. Terms of the deal were not announced.
Founded in 2007 and led by David Northington, CEO, and Chris Arroyo, CFO, Cloud Sherpas has helped over 3,000 customers adopt, manage and enhance cloud solutions from Google, salesforce.com and other leading cloud vendors.
The company has over 350 employees in Atlanta, Brisbane, Chicago, Manila, New York, San Francisco, San Diego, Sydney, Tokyo and Wellington.
