Flocations, a Singapore-based online travel discovery tool, has raised SGD700k in seed funding.
The round was led by TNF Ventures, with participation from SingTel Innov8 and Ben Ball, a Singapore-based angel investor.
The company is using the capital to launch new features, including a tool that combines hotel and flight into their search by price methodology, as well as expand operations across Asia Pacific.
Founded in February 2012 by Shaw Chian, Tudor Coman, Florian Cornu, and Venkatraman Dhamodaran, Flocations offers an interactive map comparing travel options based on price rather than the traditional date and destination. The company graduated among the first batch of 11 start-up companies from the JFDI-Innov8 2012 Bootcamp earlier this year.
