iCare Technology, a Liverpool Innovation Park, UK-based company which has developed tools to improve the living environment of elderly or disabled people, has secured £50,000 in funding.
The investment was made by The North West Fund for Biomedical, managed by SPARK Impact.
The company intends to use the capital to further develop its system and extend its partner relationships.
Led by Medwyn Jones, CEO, iCare which has developed Mylinqs, which works by connecting a wireless button touch keyboard to a television set to provide new communication services, care monitoring and health and wellbeing services designed to improve the quality of assisted independent living for people with reduced mobility.
