Koozoo Closes $2.5M Seed Funding

-

Koozoo, a San Francisco-based platform that allows people to see and share live views of places they care about, closed a $2.5m seed funding.

The round was led by New Enterprise Associates and Tugboat Ventures, with participation from angel investors Dave Moellenhoff, co-founder and former CTO of Salesforce.com, and Michael Covarrubias, Chairman & CEO of TMG Partners.

Founded in 2010 by Drew Sechrist, CEO, Koozoo is a free, crowd-sourced network of continuously broadcasting smartphone video cameras. Members can instantly see user-generated live views of places they care about such as their favorite neighborhood cafe or iconic destinations around the world from any smartphone, computer, or tablet.
Koozoo is currently in closed beta-testing in San Francisco, and will launch publicly in early 2013.
