Restore Medical Solutions Closes $2.5M Series A Funding

Restore Medical Solutions, Inc., a Memphis, Tenn.-based medical device startup, has closed a $2.5m Series A funding.

Backers include Memphis-based venture capital firms Innova and MB Ventures.

The company intends to use the capital to launch its product.

Founded in Atlanta by CEO Ryan Ramkhelawan and President Shawn Flynn, Restore Medical Solutions has developed a patent pending tray system designed to lessen the touch points within the surgical flow of instruments being used in surgery, thereby increasing the efficiency of this process which happens hundreds of times per day per facility.

The company’s clients are hospitals, surgery centers, sterile processing facilities and medical device manufacturers that utilize and reprocess re-usable surgical instrumentation.
