Decibel Music Systems, a London, UK-based company that collects, organizes, enhances and delivers data on physical and digital music products, recordings and performances, said that Gregory Kris, cofounder and CEO, resigned from the Board of Directors and as an employee.
In conjunction with the resignation, Decibel received funding from unnamed private investors who have purchased shares from Mr. Kris. He will remain a shareholder and advisor to the management team and the board.
Decibel, which will be now led by co-founder Evan Stein, today handles the digital metadata needs for over 500 companies in digital media, retail and broadcasting.
