LUXr, a San Francisco, CA-based developer of lean startup coaching products for entrepreneurs, raised $600k in seed funding.
Backers included Mitchell Kapor, Vegas Tech Fund, 500 Startups, and Idealab.
The company intends to use the capital to continue the development of its product line, which was launched to consumers in September 2012.
Founded by Janice Fraser, CEO, and Jason Fraser, International Business Development Lead, LUXr provides interactive “workshops in a box” that coach founders to apply the latest startup practices, including Customer Development, Lean Startup, user experience, and agile software development. The company’s LUXr Core Curriculum is used by startup founders from more than 50 nations as well as top universities and accelerators, including 500 Startups and Singularity University.
LUXr’s team includes well known lean startup coaches and advisers, such as Eric Ries, Adam Rifkin, and Allen Morgan.
