Venture capital firm Nokia Growth Partners (NGP) has just launched its third fund with a further US$250m long term commitment from global giant Nokia.
Formed in 2005 and led by John Gardner, managing partner, Nokia Growth Partners provides entrepreneurs with capital, industry expertise and an extensive network. The firm will continue to invest in high potential businesses within the mobile ecosystem in the U.S., Europe and Asia, and will expand its presence in China.
To this end, it appointed David Tang (from AMD) as managing director and Lu Guo (from Keytone Ventures) as principal, who will be based in Beijing.
