wehangit, a Brescia, Italy based startup that manufactures an ecological self-assembling pic frame called Tonki, has raised €5.9k in crowdfunding.
Over 15 supporters backed their project on Starteed, a platform that combines project funding with subsequent stages covering product development and sales.
The company will use part of the funds to expand their production and sales efforts.
Created by a punched cardboard sheet, Tonki is an eco-friendly self-assembling frame. On the front side there is a square surface, where people can print any kind of image. On the backside, there is a buttonhole to hang it and a tab to stand it by.
