Bee Cave Games, an Austin, Texas-based developer of social games, raised $1.4m in seed funding.
Backers included Glu Mobile and unnamed private investors.
Founded in 2012 by former Zynga’s Erik Bethke (CEO), Jeremy Strauser and Nimai Malle, Bee Cave develops connected games for web, Facebook, iOS (both iPhone and iPad), Android (phone and tablet), and other gaming platforms. The company is currently hiring (read here).
Its first project, Blackjack Casino, is in private beta.
