Easyaula, a Brazilian online educational marketplace, received an investment from Macmillan Digital Education.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
Led by Diego Alvarez, CEO and founder, Easyaula operates an online marketplace that connects teachers and students directly, allowing students to learn the professional subjects they need. The company will further develops the platform by adding a broader range of classes and learning analytics.
The company received coaching and hands-on support from mentors from the 21212 Digital Accelerator Program, which is located in Rio de Janeiro, and New York.
