Getonic, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based developer of a social-shop platform, raised more than $1.3m in funding.
Backers included thetime, Rutledge Vine Capital, Mortimer Singer, and other angel investors.
Founded in 2010 and led by CEO Adi Eyal, Getonic provides businesses with a platform to create social-viral stores called POPshops, which let users make purchases directly from the social-feeds and to receive potential rewards when they share the stores with their friends.
To create a POPshop, businesses need to select the product or service they want to sell, add a price, and customize the look and feel of the shop.
