Hypo Wholesale, a Dutch supplier of branded equestrian fashion, for rider as well as horse, has received an equity investment from Vendis Capital.
The amount of the transaction was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the proceeds from the financing to continue to develop the business.
Founded by Steef Duijndam, Hypo Wholesale operates brands including HV POLO and euro-star, whose products are sold to specialized equestrian retailers, internet- and mail order companies, mainly in Europe. In 2012 Hypo Wholesale took over the activities of Nederinum/Imperial Riding, one of the oldest Dutch equestrian wholesalers specialized in hardware products.
