Ingenious, a UK-based creative industries investment firm, recently launched two fundraising initiatives to invest £30m in the Live Events market.
They include:
– Impresario Festivals plc is raising approximately £4.2m (€5m) to own, develop and produce live music festivals in the UK and internationally. It has pre-agreed the acquisition of Rewind Festival, a large 1980’s music festival series.
– The Entertainment VCT H Share aims to raise up to £25m to take minority stakes in a broad range of live events and branded entertainment content (UK live events including festivals, trade fairs, sporting events).
