Pirate3D Raises US$482K in Funding

Pirate3D, a Singapore-based developer of an affordable 3D printer, raised SG$589K (approximately US$482K) in funding.

The funds were provided by seed and early stage fund Red Dot Ventures.

Founded by CEO Roger Chang, Brendan Goh, and Tsang You Jun, Pirate3DP is prototyping its “Buccaneer”, which is expected to be launched in April 2013.
