Rivet & Sway, a Seattle, WA-based eyewear brand and online retailer focused exclusively on women’s prescription glasses, raised $2m in “Series III” funding.
The round was led by Mousse Partners, with participation from existing investors Baseline Ventures and Harrison Metal.
The company Intends to use the capital for technology development, hiring people (read here) and marketing initiatives.
Launched in August 2012 by CEO John Lusk, Rivet & Sway offers a curated line of high-end frames (priced at $199 including lenses), advice to shoppers, free FedEx 2-Day shipping, free lens and coating upgrades.
