Collectrium, a NYC-based developer of technology solutions for the art community, raised $2.6m in funding.
Backers included Joshua Chodniewicz and Michael Marston, co-founders of art.com; Max and Monique Burger, principals of The Burger Collection; Arthur Berliner, a Managing Director at Walden Venture Capital and an art collector; and other private collectors.
Brian McConville, formerly Executive Vice President of artnet, has joined Collectrium as President. McConville, who has also joined the company’s Board of Managers, will focus primarily on strategy, marketing, business development, fundraising, and partnerships.
Led by Boris Pevzner, CEO and Founder, Collectrium provides galleries, collectors, art fairs, artists, and art organizations with an art inventory management platform to organize, discover, share, and promote art.
It has over 120,000 users across the world.
