Thumb Friendly, an Atlanta, GA-based provider of a mobile marketing platform for small and medium-sized businesses, closed an additional round of venture capital funding.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Backers included Frank Bishop, former CEO of Invesco, Ltd. and Managing Director of AL III Management, an investment partnership, Peter Davis, Cartera Commerce co-founder.
Both Bishop and Davis will join Thumb Friendly’s board of directors.
The company intends to use the capital to further develop its platform, as well as to expand its sales and marketing efforts.
Led by Andrew Katz, Founder & CEO, Thumb Friendly provides small and medium-sized businesses with a mobile marketing solution to reach consumers through smart phones, iPads, and other mobiles devices.
