Visualnet.com, a Los Angeles, California-based online marketplace for production services in the film, TV & video production industry, raised $1m in funding.
Kibo Ventures, a fund backed by Telefónica, made an initial investment in the company.
Visualnet.com intends to use the capital to expand its technology.
Led by Enrique Irazoqui, Founder and CEO, Visualnet.com provides a comprehensive entertainment industry directory with over 70,000 vendors, 20,000 producers and 20,000 crew and service professionals. Its VisualBids is an online bidding tool for production services and equipment designed to streamline the production process.
The company also has offices in Barcelona, Spain.
