Bitbar, a Helsinki, Finland-based provider of a development, testing and deployment platform, completed a $3m funding round.
The round was led by Creathor Venture, with participation from DFJ Esprit, Finnvera Venture Capital, Qualcomm Ventures and TEKES.
The company intends to use the funds to expand their mobile developer tools beyond Android, iOS and HTML5.
Led by Marko Kaasila, Sakari Rautiainen, Jouko Kaasila and Krzysztof Choma, Bitbar provides mobile software development and testing solutions based on widely adopted open standards. Its flagship cloud-based Android testing solution, Testdroid Cloud, is an automated, real-time testing tool for mobile application developers. The company also offers Testdroid Recorder to automatically generate standards-based test scripts and Testdroid Enterprise for Android and iOS for companies to build in-house test labs.
