BodeTree, a Denver, CO-based provider of an online tool for small business owners to understand their finances, raised $1.4m in seed funding.
The round was led by VC Greenline Ventures.
The company intends to use the capital to release a new version of BodeTree, hire new people to expand to other platforms and extend its institutional partnerships.
Launched in private beta in August of 2011 by Matt Ankrum and Christopher Myers, BodeTree syncs with QuickBooks and leverages financial tools used by Fortune 500 companies to create an online financial analytics dashboard complete with professional reports and insights for for small businesses.
