Haiku Deck, Seattle, WA-based startup that provides a free iPad app to make presentations, raised $3m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Trilogy Partnership, with participation from Madrona Venture Group, Founders Co-op, tech entrepreneur Sarah Leary, and other angel investors.
The company intends to use the capital to growi the team (read here), expand to other platforms, and develop a premium offering.
Led by co-founder and CEO Adam Tratt, Haiku Deck provides a tool for traditional presentations and new formats including tablet-centric pitch decks, creative communication pieces, and rich content for blogs. The company launched its iPad app in August 2012 and released version 2.0 last month with a new set of business-focused features and functionality.
It is used by business leaders, entrepreneurs, educators, realtors, salespeople, marketers, and creative thinkers worldwide.
